The Dubguru

The Dubguru is the brainchild of established DJs/producers Johan Gielen and Ben Huijbregts. Johan Gielen (Svenson & Gielen, Airscape) and Ben Huijbregts (Virtual Vault, hit record Request) teamed up to combine forces and musical styles in order to create a powerful big room sound with a mainstream twist under the moniker “The Dubguru”. Their current tracks, as well as their works in progress, prove that the concept of bringing the best of both worlds together, results in outstanding productions with instant success, both on the dance floor and behind the decks of the world’s best DJs. The Dubguru’s debut release “U Got 2 Know”, was immediately picked up and hammered in the live sets of Tiësto, Sander van Doorn, Marco V and many others. The track featured in the radio program Tiësto’s Club Life, it became the tune of the week in Radio538’s Dance Department and was ultimately voted Dance Smash by a staggering 89% of the weekly listeners of the Dutch Top40 charts. The first single has already been licensed to the UK (Newstate), Germany (Tiger Records/Kontor), Russia (Dance Planet), Australia (Ministry of Sound), Japan (Avex) and of course the Benelux (Spinnin’).
