Pioneers of pastoral indie-folk pop Tim and Sam’s Tim and the Sam Band with Tim and Sam are a four-piece multi instrument-playing outfit. Born in Manchester in 2006, Tim and Sam have played 100s of shows all over the UK. They’ve had rave reviews from everyone in their home city, including local heroes Peter Hook and Stephen Fretwell. National radio tastemakers including Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy and Huw Stephens are enthusiastic supporters and the band receive frequent plays on their shows. In November 2008 they self-released an EP entitled Put Your Slippers On. Their Debut album 'Life Stream' is due to be released on May 3rd. It will feature a mix of their traditional instrumental tracks and, for the first time, vocals. Read more on Last.fm.
