Towers of Asia is Robbie Davies (b. 1972 in London, UK) - an electronic musician. Formerly known as Advokat, the focus is live electronics with the sounds of post-rock and melodies that could fit as easily in a science fiction Western. Invoking memories of sunny winter mornings, the artist experiments with the indulgent electric sounds of a 1970s supergroup and love/hate electro pop. Influences include Karlheinz Stockhausen, Brian Eno, Bernard Sumner and Keiren Hebden. During his final year of 1993 at the University of Gloucestershire, UK, Robbie lectured a course on Electronic Music. Read more on Last.fm.
