TOX MODELL was founded begin 1980 by Andre Bach, Arjen Schrama, Mark Tegefoss and Bob Pieck later replaced by Xavier Martin. By not using any drums or rhythmemachines it became an unusual line -up of 2 guitars, 1 bass and vocals. Their sound was very heavy aswell as their live performances. Repetative guitar patterns, a special build fretless echoguitar and maniac vocals made TOX MODELL one of the most remarkable bands of the dutch ULTRA period (1980-1981). From their ranks the dutch modern music magazine VINYL emerged (1980-1987). ANDRE BACH en MARK TEGEFOSS continued their collaboration in the band DET WIEHL, making music for modern dance theatre like NDT and Shusaku. Read more on Last.fm.
