Under the Waves was very experimental screamo band based in A Coruña, Spain. They recorded a demo on 2006 that never was released, in that era their music shown big influences of bands like City of Caterpillar, mid Envy, Circle Takes the Square or Malady. They played their last show in the winter of 2006 @ La Casa da Silva before they disbanded. Finally in 2008 came to light a split with Gone With the Pain and Reaction Reaction! released by Astoria Records. UTW featured two tracks where there is a notorious evolution in their sound, aiming more experimental paths.
