The Italian band Vlad In Tears exists since 2005. It was the dream of Kris (lead singer & piano player) to have a band. Together with his brothers Lex (guitar player) and Dario (bass player) and their best friend Alex (drums) he started up this band. At the beginning of their carreer they played several cover songs of other bands but soon they began to write their own songs and look for a label. After 34 concerts in Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Ex-Yugoslavia they recorded their first demo tape “After The End”. This demo tape included 10 songs but was never released – it was only used for reaching some fans in Europe. Probably they couldn’t imagine what an effect this tape would have. The press and many people soon began to put their eyes on the band: many reviews and interviews made ViT to one of the most amazing Italian Gothic Acts. This enormous attention helped them to get a deal with the label “Aural Music”. At this time they released “Seed of an Ancient Pain”, which is said to be the best Gothic Indie release of 2007. Thanks to their MySpace profile and a great promotion they quickly reached lots of new fans. In 2010 they release their second album "Underskin", followed by "Welcome To Vladyland" in 2011.
