Wayne Lytle is the founder, head musical artist and director of the critically acclaimed, widely-known ANIMUSIC project, which has produced two DVDs of computer-generated music videos featuring self-playing instruments so far. The best-known ANIMUSIC video is "Pipe Dream", featuring several musical instruments "played" by small balls shot at them. The piece became very popular among computer graphics enthusiasts and gamers, as Canadian graphics chip producer ATi decided to develop a customly tweaked, lower-quality version to demonstrate the power of their Radeon 9700 GPU, which was able to render "Pipe Dream" in real-time.
