He’s headlined clubs and events in many cities across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico as well as the world famous island of Ibiza, Spain, and has had the privilege of opening many of Calgary’s biggest club shows, sharing the booth with the likes of Markus Schulz (Calgary’s favorite opener for Markus with five shows in two years), Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Vibrasphere, Max Graham, Laidback Luke, and Infected Mushroom. Beyond the big stages, Wes holds down one of the only progressive trance residencies in Calgary, aptly titled ‘Aura’, while on the web, Wes’s 709Sessions radio show is now into its third successful year, with monthly broadcasts on Digitally Imported, Dance Radio Global, ETN.fm, Tribalmixes.org and Evolved.fm. Wes is a true pioneer of the ‘deep trance’ sound - an emotionally inspired fusion of progressive, melodic and trance elements that unites both the beautiful and sublime. His production efforts continue to deliver this same diversity and in doing so his originals and remixes have been signed to labels such as System Recordings and Jetlag Digital, on which he is currently releasing a number of new tracks.
