Guitar, bass, drums- hasn´t everything allready been done there? Of course not, and Wire Moves are set to prove it. With three individual mindsets and musical backgrounds Wire Moves uses their experience and often instincts to write delicate and emotional songs, with a wide array of nuances. The bandmembers, having history in different scattered bands and constillations, as ”Bigger Than Jesus (Johan, Henrik)” and ”Ibold Train (Janne)” from the Växjö-area, found that they had alot of things in common and joined forces around 2003-2004, depending who you´re talking to. So, the new Växjö-based independent rock act started writing material and released the 3 song demo ”This might be the day...” in early 2005. Several gigs followed troughout the year, both accoustic and the regular kind. Later, the same spring Wire Moves commenced a cooperation with David at racetrackstudios, recording three new songs, intended to be a new demo for a late summer release. That didn´t happen for various reasons, and the demo was put on ice. The intension was to record two more songs sometime in the future, transforming the three song demo into a five song EP. Now, sometime in the end of the summer Wire Moves packed the car with instruments and a videocamera heading to an old deserted factory in Gislaved to record their first video to the song ”Love inc”. The video turned out really well, directed by Janne, and was shown at the Nonstop filmfestival and showcased att different venues(it even won a second price in the music category at the Nonstop filmfestival). And now, early 2006, the trio are working in the studio, polishing the final adjustements on the upcoming five song debut EP, currently called ”Mathilda”. No release date are set yet, but ”she” will be available in a very close future. A new video is on the sketchboard as well, so dont forget to drop back once in a while, because, as someone philosophized about chocolate ”you´ll never know what you gonna get”.
