Signed to Transgressive Records, London based band burningpilot's line up comprises: Ch#1 - drums, Ch#2 - bass, Ch#3 - guitar and vocal and Ch#4 - synthesisers; although even this limited amount of information remains cloudy. To date, the band has remained reclusive to the extent that even their own record label isn't entirely sure as to who burningpilot are. Mastered recordings turn up at the label's office; interviews are carried out remotely; collective band 'promo' shots aren't issued. 2005 saw release of their debut single 'Can't Kid a Kidder' to widespread radio airplay and critical approval, picking up 'Single of the Week' on both Steve Lamacq's 6music show, as well as BBC's Across the Line, and featuring in many a 'best of year' singles chart. After selling out faster than any previous Transgressive single it was made available on the NME website as a free download. Follow-up single Two Words Two Syllables was equally well received, with the NME simply describing it as "fantastic stuff". Read more on Last.fm.
