We are Don Agbai. Some would say we play electronic pop music in the vein of Pet Shop Boys and New Order, with a little Postal Service and The Embassy thrown in for good measure. Some would say we're one of those "best kept secret of the Swedish indie scene today", and hey, everybody loves a secret. The origins of Don Agbai are clad in mystery, practically the stuff of legends, and we like to keep it that way. Facts are hard and full of pointy edges. Myths and legends are softer, more fluent - and far more interesting. Don Agbai really came alive when the single Last Night When I Was Jimmy White was picked up by Swedish radio station P3, where subsequent singles have also been heard if one has been paying close attention. Our latest release is the Cats and Travel EP, containing four original Don Agbai songs (including the single A Trip to Venice) about cats and travel, as well as a remix for the dancefloors by old school synth pop heroes Children Within. Oh, and we're working on some new stuff as well, so keep listening and hopefully we'll have some new and even better tracks for you in a while!
