mastermind_xs is a two-friends-project (daniel stephan & heiko petry) from saarbrücken (germany). they are making music together since 11 years. first they've started as a band called "sheepshooters association", a reggae-psycho-rock´n´roll project with several other nice musicians…after failing to top any charts, they've found themselves playing some kind of punk-rock together with 2 friends as a band called "bagdad pussies"… 2 years ago they've finally started "mastermind xs", creating tune after tune rooting deep into dub, reggae, electro, drum´n´bass and many other influences. they are working with ableton live and different instruments, adding sitar, melodica and everything they are able to play with, to form a unique ear-candy-mixture of groovy tunes.
