Formed in 2009 by former Phantasmagoria guitarists ＪＵＮ and 伊織 (Iori), Spiv States play cheerful rock and pop rock with some flavor from the 90's with emphasis on the guitar lines that make most of their songs a complete rush to experience. Heavily influcenced by hide, the band debuted with three consecutive single releases and jumped straight into the production of their celebrated first mini album NOVELTY HUNTER, creating, along with their previous releases, a collection of compelling fast and cheerful rock songs. With the release of their maxi-single Flavor (フレーバー) they approached a more pop sound. Soon after the anouncement of their second maxi single, the band anounced that band co-founder 伊織 (Iori) would leave the project for undeterminated time due to a severe back pain from a hernia that made his condition rapidly worse and was becoming a threat to his overall health. The new maxi-single release date was stated as the 17th of November. The name: Glider. In end of 2010 band joined new members: RYO, Zekusu and SEIYA.
